Our Mum is 88 years old and we hired the Menorah Mirielle agency to provide 24-hour live-in care for her. This started 3 months ago and it is going incredibly well. We are extremely happy with the wonderful care from this agency.
The manager is a senior cardiac nurse and her knowledge, experience, expertise, caring personality and genuine wish to look after people shines through. She has been supporting Mum and us brilliantly. Communication with her is truly optimal.
It is also lovely how there are the same two carers all the time, so Mum now knows them well. One lady does Sunday-Wednesday and the other lady does Wednesday-Sunday. They are kind, caring and conscientious.
Mum is looking better than she has done in a long time and she often says to me how sweet her carers are. She has regained her appetite and thoroughly enjoys eating and drinking again. This is greatly due to the gentle and persistent encouragement by the two carers to drink enough. We know it is not always easy to get Mum to drink enough, so we are very impressed how they are achieving this!
The carers from Menorah Mirielle have proven themselves to be completely reliable with the multiple medications Mum is on, including blister packs of tablets, additional capsules and tablets, inhaler, nebuliser and various creams etc. They are doing a simply amazing job with Mum’s skin too.
We feel complete trust in the carers’ night time care of Mum. The carer even sleeps in the bed next to Mum at night. This of course means that when Mum gets up for the loo, the carer is there immediately and can assist her, so the likelihood of her falling is drastically reduced.
We feel so lucky to have found this amazing agency and recommend them very highly.
